What Is a Buyer Session and Why Do I Need One?
A buyer session is a great way for you to meet a prospective agent and for the agent to get a deeper understanding of how they can help. It’s not required, but I think it's a great place to start when you’re thinking about making a purchase as large as a home.
Discovering your goals
Once we meet what I like to do is go over your wishlist using the 3D method. For example, if you wrote that you want a large yard then I’ll ask questions like "why do you want a large yard" and "what does a large yard mean to you." This makes it three questions deep and gives both of us a much clearer three dimensional understanding. The more I can see from your perspective the better positioned I am to serve you!
The buying process explained
Shopping and viewing homes is the fun part but once it’s time to make an offer is when it can get complicated. I’ll explain the entire buying process + invite you to ask questions so you can begin the process confidently right from the start. I’ll also be there throughout that entire process to answer all your questions and guide you through every step. Additionally, I’ll give you recommendations for mortgage brokers, property inspectors, real estate lawyers and other professionals you may need, right there and during the process as the need arises.
Create search / book showings
We can look at some online listings and set up a custom search just for you. We can even book some showings of the ones you really love! Since we talked about your goals in so much depth I’ll be able to keep my eye peeled for listings that may not fit within that criteria or may not even be on the market but that you still might love.
The overall goal is to educate you as a buyer and learn about your real estate goals. It’s completely free and there’s no obligation to work with me after. Whether you’re ready to start shopping tomrrow or in 12 monthes I’ll be here for you and ready to help!
